Dr. Yakov Yakubov is a skilled oral surgeon with a focus in wisdom tooth extraction, complex dental extractions, bone grafting, implant placement, tooth exposure, orthognathic surgery, benign pathology treatment, oral reconstruction and rehabilitation. He makes sure to listen to his patient’s needs and prioritizes comfort while performing the dental procedures required.
Dr. Yakubov achieved his undergraduate degree from Queens College, City University in New York in 2012. He then received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the College of Dental Medicine, Columbia University in 2016. He continued his education by completing his Doctor of Medicine degree from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University in 2019. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Columbia University in 2022. He also has research experience including being part of the National Institute for Dental and Craniofacial Research in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Dental Association.
On his free time, Dr. Yakubov enjoys spending time with his family. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian.
